Dubai will soon welcome a new night swimming beach as part of the revamped Al Mamzar Corniche Beach project. Stretching 300 meters, the facility is designed to elevate Dubai’s beach experiences, offering accessibility and safety for all visitors. The beach is part of the Dh400 million Al Mamzar Beach Development Project’s Phase 2, slated for completion by the end of 2025. With work on the first phase achieving 45 percent completion, Dubai Municipality remains committed to creating state-of-the-art recreational facilities. The night swimming beach will feature lighting systems, lifeguard stations, and enhanced surveillance to ensure the safety of evening visitors. Designed for inclusivity, the beach will also be accessible to people of determination. Among the highlights of the project is a 200-meter pedestrian pontoon bridge that will link both banks of Al Mamzar Creek. The bridge ensures convenient access to the new recreational zones, which include a 5-kilometer walkway, running tracks, and cycling paths. The development features three children’s play areas, two recreational zones, and BBQ spots. Designed with sustainability in mind, the beach will also offer jet ski marinas and landscaped green spaces. Dubai Municipality is introducing comprehensive visitor facilities, including changing rooms, outdoor showers, and 1,400 parking spaces. Eight toilet blocks and eight outdoor shower areas are part of the expansive infrastructure. “This development underscores our vision to offer state-of-the-art recreational facilities, ensuring every beachgoer can enjoy Dubai’s coastline in safety and comfort,” according to Dubai Municipality.
