The tunnel has day and night lighting to help cyclists get clear visibility at any time of the day or night that they are cycling. The tunnel will also connect cycling tracks and development projects in Meydan and Nad Al Sheba. It is part of Dubai’s plan to have a total of 819km of cycling tracks in the emirate by 2026.
