Dubai Parks™ and Resorts, the Middle East's largest integrated theme park, is set to host an incredible line-up of activities this UAE National Day, perfect for families and friends looking for a thrilling getaway during the long weekend. The family-favorite destination, home to some of the region's most iconic theme parks and hotels, will be decorated in the UAE flag colors to celebrate the occasion across all its properties. The park will become the ideal destination for family-friendly fireworks on December 2 at 7pm and 9pm. For families who want to start celebrating, LEGOLAND® Dubai is putting on shows and activities towards the end of National Day weekend. For the second year in a row, LEGOLAND Dubai is proud to invite its guests to build the world's largest UAE LEGO® Minifigure Flag to mark the 51st UAE National Day in MINILAND, where famous landmarks are recreated with more than 20 million LEGO® bricks. Kids can also participate in the 'Parkwide Scavenger Hunt', where they can explore and learn some interesting UAE facts. To maximize the fun this year, daily Characters' Parades will take place at Factory Street, led by the kids' favorite LEGOLAND® characters dressed in their special outfits in UAE colors to celebrate this joyful occasion. Before going home, guests should not miss collecting their unique limited-edition LEGO collector brick, commemorating the 51st spirit of the union. Meanwhile, Riverland™ Dubai, the picturesque-themed recreational hub for diners and shoppers and the ideal venue for picture-perfect Insta-moments, will be hosting authentic Emirati activations throughout its venue from December 1 to December 3 between 4pm and 10pm. Guests can enjoy pop-up tents offering Henna, delicious Luqaimat live cooking sessions, kids face painting and interact with the UAE's magnificent national bird and symbol of the nation's heritage, the falcon. For those who want to sit back and enjoy a traditional show, Ayala dancers will be lining the streets alongside a traditional kids' dance performance for Hag al Laila, one of the most popular celebrations in the UAE that honors the spirit of the community. Additionally, the park will be decorated with bunting flags and lit up in the UAE flag colors, with multiple Instagrammable spots for pictures to commemorate the celebration. These will accompany the addition of the "I love UAE because..." wall, where children and adults alike can express their gratitude towards the great nation. Families and friends looking to dine in between activities can enjoy cuisines from around the world at any one of the restaurants available, including the newly opened authentic Italian Viva Ristorante, family favorites Chikadees, Wok Garden, The Keg, and a selection of eight new kiosks.
