Dubai plate number AA10 fetches Dh3.12 million at auction

DUBAI – Car plate number AA10 sold for Dh3.12 million in the last auction of its kind this year. Dubai-based businessman Majid Mustafa, who owns 5,000 special plates, said his latest acquisition will be for his personal use and that AA10 will be mounted on one of his cars. The number plate is among just ten in the first batch of Dubai's newly designed number plate with the AA code. The Roads and Transport Authority said the ten plates sold on Saturday will be the only ‘AA’ code plates in Dubai for 12 months.
