A Dubai Police team has arrested an Asian gang who stole Dh1 million from a trading company in the Al Khawaneej area. The gang members were arrested within 24 hours of police receiving a report about the theft, said Colonel Khalifa Asad Al Awadhi, Acting Director of Al Khawaneej Police Station. An investor told police that the gang members stole one million dirhams in multi-currencies from the company’s headquarters. A security team that investigated the theft were able to track down and arrest the suspects, who confessed to the theft. The case has been referred to the Public Prosecution. ICA/Expat Media
