Dubai Police have arrested three European women accused of practising medicine and performing plastic surgeries without a licence inside a residential apartment, in violation of UAE law. The arrests were carried out by the Economic Crimes Combating Department at the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation, in collaboration with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA). Authorities said they received a tip-off about suspicious activity involving unlicensed medical and cosmetic services. "After verifying the information, a well-planned trap was set, and the apartment was raided," police said in a statement. During the operation, officers seized unlicensed medical tools, devices, and quantities of medications. The women have been referred to the Public Prosecution for legal action. Police stressed that performing medical and cosmetic procedures in unlicensed facilities poses “a significant risk to the health and safety of clients.” Dubai Police urged the public to only seek services from licensed healthcare facilities, verify the credentials of practitioners, and avoid being lured by misleading offers that could endanger lives.
