The Dubai Police have detained two individuals for illegally using the logo of a well-known brand of lubricating oil. The accused loaded containers with oil from a different brand and sold them in the market while covering them with stickers from a well-known brand specializing in auto oils. The suspects were detained by the CID teams, who also recovered 2,500 bulky goods intended for sale. According to police investigation documents, the police were informed about individuals who were allegedly selling auto lubricants without any documentation of their authenticity outside the offices of authorized agents. Since the oil has yet to pass quality testing, utilizing the brand mark improperly could hurt the vehicles using it and harm the brand. Police discovered a business where containers of oils that were not from the brand and did not adhere to its criteria had fake labels applied to them. A force was assembled to check the data. When it was confirmed, the police searched the warehouse and detained two guys.
