Dubai Police have taken firm action against motorcycle riders caught performing dangerous stunts and violating traffic laws on roads across Dubai. Authorities said several riders were seen driving on one wheel, weaving between vehicles, and engaging in reckless behaviour that put both their lives and the safety of others at serious risk. Jumaa Salem bin Suwaidan, Director of the General Department of Traffic at Dubai Police, said patrol teams detected multiple serious violations involving dangerous riding and failure to follow traffic regulations. He stressed that such actions can easily lead to major accidents and severe injuries. “These actions endanger both riders and other road users,” Brigadier bin Suwaidan said, adding that Dubai Police remain committed to strictly enforcing traffic laws against violators. The motorcycles involved have been impounded, and legal action has been taken against the offenders in accordance with traffic laws. Brigadier bin Suwaidan urged motorcycle riders to follow safe driving practices and avoid risky behaviour on public roads. He also called on parents to play a stronger role in supervising their children and raising awareness about the dangers of reckless riding.
