Dubai Police has introduced an advanced Drone Box system to monitor Jumeirah Lakes Towers (JLT) and Uptown Dubai, two of the city’s busiest high-rise areas. This pioneering move enhances safety and emergency response. “These drones provide real-time data, reducing response times and improving situational awareness,” said a Dubai Police representative. Capable of operating beyond the visual line of sight and reaching high-rise areas, the drones are part of Dubai’s smart city initiatives. Launched in 2021, the technology underscores Dubai’s commitment to safety and innovation.
