In the third quarter of 2022, Dubai Police recorded a 65% drop in criminal reports compared to last year. These figures were revealed at the General Department of Criminal Investigations (CID) quarterly appraisal meeting, which was presided over by Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police. Lt. General Al Marri praised the dedicated officers and employees of the General Department of Criminal Investigation for their efforts in apprehending criminal perpetrators in record time and with high professionalism and praised their efforts in maintaining the emirate's safety and security. Expert Major General Expert Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Criminal Investigation Affairs; Expert Major General Jamal Salem Al Jallaf, Director of the General Department of Criminal Investigation (CID); Brigadier Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah Al Mualla, Director of the General Department for Excellence and Pioneering; and the directors of General Department of Criminal Investigation sub-departments attended the meeting.
