Four printing presses found to be producing illegal massage cards in Dubai have been shut down, Dubai Police announced on Saturday (February 22). The move is part of an intensified crackdown on unauthorized advertising materials linked to illicit activities. In a statement, Dubai Police revealed that several individuals working at these printing presses were arrested. “Anyone involved with these printing presses could face legal consequences,” police warned. These illegal massage cards, often plastered on car windshields or scattered on pavements, frequently feature obscene images of women and advertise unlicensed massage services. Authorities have cautioned that calling the numbers on these cards could put individuals at risk of theft, extortion, or other criminal activities. “People might think they’re simply contacting a massage service, but in reality, they could be exposing themselves to dangerous situations,” Dubai Police stated. To combat the widespread distribution of these cards, the General Department of Criminal Investigation has deployed a dedicated team to monitor and respond to reports on the issue. Authorities have urged residents to take an active role in reporting offenders. Dubai Police emphasized that anyone caught distributing or displaying these cards in public places will face strict penalties.
