Residents interested in community service can volunteer with Dubai Police by taking part in the force’s public volunteer programmes throughout 2026. Dubai Police regularly opens volunteer opportunities during major events and public celebrations. Most recently, volunteers were recruited to support operations during New Year’s Eve celebrations across Dubai and at the Dubai Police Carnival. Available volunteer roles have included photography, cycling patrols and mounted police support, offering residents a unique opportunity to work alongside one of the region’s most respected law enforcement agencies. While all current volunteer slots have been filled, Dubai Police encourages interested residents to regularly check its official volunteer portal for upcoming opportunities. To qualify, volunteers must: • Hold a valid Emirates ID • Be at least 18 years old, or have parental consent if under 18 • Meet the required mental and physical fitness standards for the role Approved volunteers are entitled to food provisions and may receive a transportation allowance if assigned to locations far from their residence. For further inquiries, volunteers can contact volunteer@dubaipolice.gov.ae.
