Dubai Police have warned residents against fraudulent websites and social media links advertising fake Global Village VIP packs for the upcoming Season 30 at so-called discounted prices. Authorities said the fraudulent links are scams aimed at stealing money and personal data, with scammers setting up websites that mimic official pages to trick unsuspecting buyers. “These schemes resurface every year, preying on the high demand for Global Village tickets,” police said in a statement. Global Village Season 30 opens its gates on October 15. Officials emphasized that tickets and VIP packs should only be purchased through official platforms: the Global Village website, its mobile app, or authorized outlets. For the new season, Coca-Cola Arena’s website is the exclusive platform for VIP pack sales. Global Village earlier announced that sales of VIP packs will be rolled out in phases—pre-booking began on September 20, while general sales will start on September 27. Prices range between Dh1,800 and Dh7,550, and one lucky buyer will win a cheque worth Dh30,000. Police urged residents to stay vigilant, avoid suspicious links, and report any fraudulent activity through the e-Crime platform or by calling 901. ICA/Expat Media
