Dubai radio DJ Kris Fade helps rescue family from villa fire

DUBAI – Dubai-based radio show presenter Kris Fade helped rescue a family of eight from a villa that caught fire in the emirate. No one was reported hurt during the incident on Saturday (June 15) in Al Barsha, Dubai. Fade shared a video on his Instagram Stories, which showed flames rising above the fence of the two-storey villa. He said he was driving home from the gym when he spotted the fire and reportedly heard screams coming from the villa. “We've just got an entire family out of this villa,” he said, describing it as a “huge fire”. "We've called the fire brigade but literally, had to get in there,” he added. He reportedly ran towards the home of the local family and saw the father running away from the flames while carrying a baby. The fire was eventually put out by the Dubai Civil Defence, whom Fade described as “legendary”. The cause of the fire is not yet clear, and an investigation is underway.
