Dubai ranked 24th among the safest distinguished tourist destinations in the world, according to a new survey. Hokkaido ranked first in the world, followed by Hawaii in second place, then Ibiza in third place. The latest survey from Insider Monkey rated Dubai for the safety of its tourist destinations, including hotels, resorts and beaches. It noted that police in the emirate drive patrol cars that are McLaren and Aston Martin. In June, a 2023 survey by travel insurance comparison site InsureMyTrip highlighted Dubai as the safest city for solo women travellers. A Forbes report says Dubai now ranks No. 1 because, among other factors, it was given the highest scores for safety and walking alone at night. At the Arabian Travel Market in May, Major General Jamal Salem Al Jallaf, Director of the General Department of Criminal Investigations, emphasized the importance of tourists feeling safe and secure in developing the tourism sector, particularly as Dubai Police's services for this demographic are closely linked to the tourism industry. “Our services provide easy access and quick response through smart and electronic platforms that implement best global practices and utilize the latest artificial intelligence tools,” he confirmed.
