Road authorities released a complete list of road speed limits to be applied on all major roads in Dubai. Speed limits on UAE roadways are determined by technical traffic flow reports provided by engineers in each emirate. In all emirates except Abu Dhabi, speed buffers are installed to let motorists travel 20kmph more than the stipulated speed limit. In 2018, Abu Dhabi abolished the buffer system. The Dubai Police Department's website contains information about speed limits on various roadways. According to the most recent update in September, the speed restrictions range from 60 to 120kph. The speed limit on Mohamed Bin Zayed and Emirates roads remains 110kmph, while it is set at 70kmph on other interior routes. BKM/ Expat Media
