The Dubai Ride will be back on November 10, turning the city’s Sheikh Zayed Road into a giant cycling track. Considered the world’s biggest fun ride, the Dubai Ride 2024 will see the iconic highway closed to traffic for several hours to make way for the sea of cyclists of all ages.Last year's Dubai Ride drew more than 35,000 cyclists, with participants pedaling past Dubai’s iconic landmarks on Sheikh Zayed Road. The event is part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC), which is officially kicking off this year on October 28 and will run until November 24. This year’s DFC he Dubai Stand-Up Paddle for the first time on November 2, and will culminate with the Dubai Ride on November 24. The eighth edition of the month-long fitness event in the UAE encourages residents and visitors of all ages to commit to 30 minutes of exercise for 30 consecutive days. The DFC was launched in 2017 by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai.
