Dubai Ride 2025 is gearing up for another thrilling return on November 2, as thousands of cyclists are expected to once again turn Sheikh Zayed Road into a scenic cycling track. Part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC), the ride will mark the early highlight of the 30-day initiative that kicks off on November 1. Now in its ninth edition, the DFC coincides with the UAE’s “Year of the Community”, with a renewed focus on health, unity, and wellness. Speaking at the DFC launch event, Khalfan Belhoul, Vice Chairman of Dubai Sports Council, said: “With 2025 declared the Year of Community in the UAE, I am confident that this year’s edition will once again unite friends, families, and organisations in the shared pursuit of a healthier, more active lifestyle.” Last year’s Dubai Ride saw over 37,000 cyclists from all walks of life take part in the community-driven ride, enjoying rare car-free access to Dubai’s most iconic roads. Cyclists can choose between the 12km Sheikh Zayed Road route passing Burj Khalifa, Museum of the Future, and Dubai Water Canal; or the 4km Family Ride around Downtown Dubai, including Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard and Dubai Opera. Registration details are expected to be announced later and is free via dubairide.com. Whether you’re a serious cyclist or just want a family-friendly ride through the city’s landmarks, Dubai Ride offers a unique experience to celebrate fitness and community.
