A public auction is ongoing for 350 special car number plates in Dubai, according to the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). The online auction offers 3-, 4- and 50digit super plates for private and vintage vehicles with the codes A, H, I,, J, K, L, M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T, U, V, W and Y. Bidding started on Monday and will continue until Friday (August 4). The super number plates on offer are M 535, T 451, L 69069, A 50052, V 1107, V 5567, T 2223 and R 33434. License plates sold at the auction will be subject to 5 percent VAT, and bidders are required to have a security cheque amounting to Dh5,000 and a fee of Dh120 to participate. ICA/Expat Media
