The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) of Dubai and the Dubai Police General Headquarters have announced that nominations for the first-ever Delivery Service Excellence Award opened on October 1 and will continue through November 30. Abdulla Yousef Al Ali, CEO of RTA's Licensing Agency, expressed joy at the announcement of this award, emphasizing the delivery sector's ongoing expansion in recent years as a result of increased customer demand from both individuals and business entities. "RTA and Dubai Police General HQ are welcoming companies to apply for the Delivery Service Excellence Award, which encourages delivery companies and drivers to take an active role in stepping up the road traffic safety across the emirate and enhancing customer service quality," said Al Ali. The key criteria for selecting the best delivery companies are compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, adherence to RTA requirements and international standards, commitment to using advanced technologies and continuous training, and improving customer satisfaction ratings. A clean record of complaints, offenses, and accidents and an upbeat assessment of the employee's work is among the criteria for selecting the best drivers. Winners will be revealed in the press and on social media. The Covid-19 outbreak increased demand for delivery service providers to accommodate public demand for goods and products.
