Starting on January 15, the minimum top-up amount for a Nol card will be Dh20, according to the Roads and Transport Authority on Friday (January 5). Nol cards are currently topped up with a minimum of Dh5. Commuters must have a balance of Dh15 on their Nol card for a round trip on the Dubai Metro network. A Nol card is a prepaid card that is used to pay for public transport in Dubai, such as Dubai Metro, Dubai taxi, public bus, Dubai Tram and water buses.
