Dubai Ruler launches 'D33' to boost Dubai’s economy
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, launched the Dubai Economic Agenda 'D33' on January 4 to double the size of Dubai's economy over the next decade and solidify Dubai's position among the top three worldwide cities. The Dubai Economic Agenda 'D33' will be implemented immediately, as directed by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council. Teams across Dubai's government organizations would work closely with the business sector to achieve the Agenda's numerous aims during the next ten years. Dubai's expansion as a worldwide economic and corporate center has been fueled by its extraordinary business-enabling infrastructure, resulting in numerous remarkable success stories of enterprise and innovation. The new Dubai Economic Agenda, which includes total economic ambitions of Dh32 trillion over the next ten years, intends to double the emirate's foreign commerce to Dh25.6 trillion and add 400 cities as significant trading partners over the next decade.
