The CEO of a government entity in Dubai has caught the attention of the Dubai ruler after the former was exposed by a secret shopper. Omar Bu Shehab, CEO of the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment, was found giving “exceptional service” to customers. Of course, this impressed no less than Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. “We found the CEO at the service counter, receiving customers, speeding up procedures, and contributing to clearing transactions,” Sheikh Mohammed said in a Twitter post. “The secret shopper assured us that providing the service did not exceed five minutes, thanks to CEO and their teamwork,” Sheikh Mohammed added. The Dubai ruler praised Bu Shehab for his commitment to quick and easy customer experience at the housing agency. Meanwhile, Sheikh Mohammed said that mystery shoppers will continue to be sent out to evaluate agencies and establishments. “In line with this commitment, secret shoppers will continue to be deployed, as they have been for the past thirty years, ensuring ongoing evaluation and improvement of service delivery throughout Dubai,” Sheikh Mohammed said.
