The "Souq Al Freej" initiative of the Dubai Municipality, which debuted on December 18, 2022, at Al Warqa 3 Park and Al Barsha Pond Park, will continue to welcome guests until January 10, 2023. The program helps Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and gives entrepreneurs a free space to display their homemade goods. It also aims to give small and medium business owners a chance to advertise their products. The "Souq Al Freej" initiative is also a part of the Municipality's ongoing efforts to offer Emirati neighborhood business owners investment opportunities and the resources they need to increase competition among them, offer consumers the best products at the lowest prices, and further increase consumer confidence in household goods. Al Barsha Pond Park will be open to visitors from December 18 through December 27, 2022, while Al Warqa 3 Park will be open to visitors from January 1 through January 10, 2023. The project offers enterprises several privileges, including providing on-site logistics facilities and allocating free booths for advertising their goods. The second season of the Farmers' Souq initiative at Al Nakheel Park will begin in November 2022 and go until March 2023. The program, in which more than 50 farmers are participating, aims to establish a single platform that brings Emirati farmers together in one location to market local agricultural and organic products while also boosting confidence in local agriculture and supporting farmers and small entrepreneurs.
