Public parking in Dubai and Sharjah will be free of charge during the Eid Al Fitr holidays, authorities announced on Friday (April 5).

In Dubai, public parking will be free starting from Sunday (April 7), which is a regular no paid parking day, and will continue from Ramadan 29, which falls on April 8 (Monday), until Shawwal 3.

If the last day of Ramadan is declared on Monday, then Shawwal 3 would fall on Thursday (April 11). If the last day of Ramadan is on Tuesday, then Shawwal 3 would fall on April 12.

In Sharjah, public parking will be free on the first, second and third day of Eid Al Fitr. Parking zones with blue signboards will remain as paid parking areas during the holidays. ICA/Expat Media
