The ICD Brookfield Place in Dubai's DIFC. ARCHIVE

Dubai residents looking for a unique Dubai Fitness Challenge experience can now climb 54 storeys of one of DIFC’s most iconic towers — all for a good cause. On November 22, ICD Brookfield Place will open its 54 floors to the public for the first time as part of “Climb for a Cause,” a stair-climbing challenge that blends fitness, community spirit, and charity. Participants will make the ascent while raising funds for the Al Jalila Foundation, a UAE organisation dedicated to transforming lives through medical research, education, and treatment. Ben McGregor, Senior Vice President of Real Estate Management & Operations at Brookfield Properties, said the initiative is about far more than physical endurance. “‘Climb for a Cause’ is about community and contribution. It’s more than a fitness challenge; it’s an opportunity for people from different walks of life to come together with a shared purpose to support medical innovation and wellbeing through Al Jalila Foundation,” McGregor said. “Each flight of stairs ascended supports the advancement of healthcare and impacts the lives of those it touches,” organisers said, noting that the event reflects ICD Brookfield Place’s core values of wellbeing and community contribution.
