Students can now get a 50% discount on public transport in Dubai with the nol Student Package introduced by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) during GITEX Global 2024. The new student nol card can be used to pay at retail stores in the UAE. School and university students in the UAE, especially in Dubai, can get discounts of up to 70% on local and international brands, both in the country and abroad. Students will also get a personalised international student ID card linked to their nol card. An updated nol Student Card will also be coming later this year and it will include new features that let parents top up balances and manage their children's daily expenses. This new initiative is a collaboration with the International Student Identity Card (ISIC) Association, where both parties signed an agreement at the Middle East and North Africa Transport Congress and Exhibition in February 2024 to launch the nol Student Package. Students can request the card through the nol Pay app and will be delivered to their address. They can also buy the package here. FLE/Expat Media
