DUBAI - A 66-year-old Sudanese tutor landed in court after he was caught on video molesting a 10-year-old Emirati schoolgirl in her home.
The girl's mother said she was shocked to see CCTV footage of the man molesting her daughter in the room where he gave her private lessons.
The woman said she hired the Sudanese to give lessons to her three children at their home in Al Nahda area.
CCTV cameras have been installed in the home and the Emirati was checking the footages when
she noticed the Sudanese man touching her daughter indecently.
Video footage revealed that the man had repeatedly molested the girl on several occasions in January. He was arrested after the girl's parents reported the matter to the police.
His case was referred to prosecutors who charged him with molestation. He denied the charge when he appeared before the Dubai Court of First Instance.
The girl also told prosecutors that her tutor used to put his hands inside her clothes, and that the tutor gave her the last lesson among her siblings so he could molest her.
