In a striking tribute to the UAE’s founding fathers, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Brand Dubai has unveiled a monumental 50-meter portrait at the DIFC Gate. The artwork is part of the #ZayedAndRashid campaign, which celebrates national occasions including UAE Flag Day and Eid Al Etihad. Captured by renowned photographer Ramesh Shukla, the artwork highlights the vision and unity of these leaders who transformed the UAE into a thriving nation. The portraits, which reflect Shukla’s admiration for the UAE’s early leaders, commemorate a journey of resilience and ambition. The installation’s background is the work of Emirati artist Maitha Demithan, whose unique art techniques blend photography and three-dimensional imagery to give the tribute a dynamic, modern feel. “The DIFC installation symbolizes the oneness of purpose that has driven the UAE’s progress since its founding,” said Shaima Al Suwaidi, Director of Brand Dubai. “This celebration across the nation reflects the respect and gratitude felt toward Sheikh Zayed and Sheikh Rashid. Their legacies inspire generations to come.” The unveiling at DIFC underscores the UAE’s achievements and the steadfast dedication of its people. Saleh Al Akrabi, Chief Real Estate Officer of DIFC Investments, expressed DIFC’s pride in hosting the installation: “Our leaders are role models in work, innovation, and patriotism.
