Dubai is set to capture global attention once again with its latest architectural feat—the Muraba Veil, a 380-meter skyscraper that stands out not for its height, but for its remarkable slenderness. To be located along Sheikh Zayed Road and the Dubai Canal, this towering structure will be just 22.5 meters wide, making it one of the narrowest skyscrapers to be built. Designed by the renowned Pritzker Prize-winning Spanish studio RCR Arquitectes, the Muraba Veil is set to be a standout addition to Dubai’s skyline. The 73-storey tower will house 131 exclusive apartments, each spanning the full width of the building, providing panoramic views of the city on both sides. “This project was about more than just creating a building. We aimed to create a serene living environment, rooted in the traditional architecture of the UAE, while offering a modern and luxurious experience,” said Ibrahim Al Ghurair, managing director of Muraba. The apartments are designed to reflect traditional Arab houses, with units arranged around internal courtyards to promote privacy and tranquility. The tower's sleek appearance is further enhanced by a stainless-steel "veil" that envelops the building. Muraba Veil will also offer high-end amenities, including a spa, fine dining restaurant, art gallery, private cinema, and even a padel court. Muraba and RCR Arquitectes have been collaborating for over a decade, and this is their fifth major project together. Rafael Aranda, founder of RCR Arquitectes, noted, “We always aim to blend architecture with the natural environment. Muraba Veil embodies that philosophy by seamlessly integrating into Dubai’s urban landscape.” Apartment prices start at Dh18 million, making Muraba Veil a symbol of luxury living in Dubai’s bustling metropolis.
