Dubai: Woman faces trial for defrauding clients by offering to recruit domestic workers

The Dubai Public Prosecution is looking into the case of a 43-year-old Asian lady who advertised on social media that she could bring domestic employees from inside and outside the country. She stated she could give this service for a commission of Dh6,000 to Dh10,000. According to the investigation, a person reported to the police that he was deceived by the woman, who took Dh6,000 from him in exchange for providing him with a domestic worker. However, she turned off her phone and was unreachable two days after he gave her the money. The accused was arrested, and authorities discovered that she had been involved in other similar crimes. During the interrogation, she stated that she would show her 'clients' the maids' CVs and tell them that she would take care of all necessary procedures to bring them to the country.
