A 36-year-old Asian woman who worked for a private company in Dubai was jailed for stealing a phone. According to the phone's owner, she went to a pharmacy to buy medicine without realizing she had left her phone behind. When she realized this, she returned to the pharmacy and tried to find it, but she couldn't. She asked the salesperson, but he also couldn't find it. She said she was sure she had left the phone at the pharmacy, so she asked the staff to check the cameras. On the footage from the security cameras, a woman was seen walking in, quickly picking up the phone, and leaving. The victim told the police, who identified and arrested the suspect. The accused person showed up in court and repeated what she had said in the police report and during the investigation by the Public Prosecution. She said she went to the pharmacy to buy medicine and saw the phone there. She saw that someone had left it somewhere, so she took it, took out the sim card, and used it.
