Pakistani worker jailed for forcing kiss on Filipina secretary in Dubai and molesting her

  DUBAI – A 23-year-old Pakistani worker has been sentenced to three months in jail for forcedly kissing a 26-year-old Filipina secretary. The Dubai Court of First Instance convicted the Pakistani of molesting the woman and ordered that he be deported after serving his jail sentence. The victim told the court that the incident happened late at night as she was heading home. She noticed the Pakistani looking at her “strangely”. “Then he asked to get to know me and asked me for my contact details. He also offered to give me money if I allowed him to kiss me. I continued walking towards my house. Suddenly he rushed in front of me and said ‘I just want to know where you come from’,” the Filipina testified. “When I was about to move away, he grabbed me by the arm and tried to pull me towards him. I resisted and did not allow him to kiss me. Then he came from behind and hugged and groped me. I cried for help,” she said, adding that he let her go when he saw someone walking towards them. She reported the incident to the police, who arrested the man.
