The 29th edition of the Dubai World Cup concluded with a historic Guinness World Record for the largest flying LED screen, dazzling a crowd of over 60,000 at Meydan Racecourse. The breathtaking 20-minute closing ceremony used 5,983 multirotor drones to form a massive, synchronized digital screen in the sky. Watch it here: The spectacle on Saturday (April 5) included high-resolution animations of UAE leaders, horse racing icons, and the championship trophy, all synchronized with lasers, lights, and fireworks. “Dubai Racing Club broke their own record attempted previously,” Guinness World Records confirmed. “This showcases the innovation and technology of drones.” Last year, the previous record was set with 4,000 drones. The night ended with a thank-you message and the words, “See you next year: 30th anniversary of Dubai World Cup.” ICA/Expat Media
