Dubai is set to introduce variable parking fees starting April 4, a move that will increase charges during peak hours in some areas, operator Parkin PJSC has confirmed. The new tariff structure will apply to six out of 14 chargeable hours per day, specifically: Peak hours: 8am to 10am, and 4pm to 8pm Off-peak hours: 10am to 4pm, and 8pm to 10pm (rates remain unchanged) Sundays and public holidays will still offer free parking, and multi-level parking buildings will continue to operate 24/7.

What areas are affected?

Dubai’s paid parking is divided into zones A, B, C, and D, which are now labeled AP, BP, CP, and DP. The new variable pricing system applies mainly to premium parking areas in high-demand locations.

During peak hours, premium parking will be charged at Dh6 per hour across all public parking zones, except on public holidays. Tariffs during off-peak hours will remain unchanged. Zones B and D will continue to offer a daily rate option. The daily tariff for premium parking will be Dh40 in Zone B and Dh30 in Zone D. Here's a guide to the new parking fees:
