Dubai’s toll-gate operator Salik has rolled out a special toll structure for the holy month of Ramadan, adjusting peak and off-peak rates in line with modified daily routines. From Monday to Saturday, motorists will pay Dh6 during peak hours from 9am to 5pm. Pre- and post-peak hours, from 7am to 9am and 5pm to 2am, will be charged at Dh4. Off-peak hours from 2am to 7am will remain free. On Sundays, excluding public holidays and special events, motorists will pay Dh4 from 7am to 2am, while the 2am to 7am window will be toll-free. The temporary structure reflects shifting travel patterns during Ramadan, when commuting times typically change to accommodate fasting hours, prayers and late-night activities. ICA/Expat Media
