Sometimes, all we need is a visit to LEGOLAND Dubai to re-activate the fun that has been buried by the weekly office grind. So that’s exactly what I did. Luckily, the Monster Party was on at LEGOLAND Dubai and our Expatmedia.net team was invited to a truly spooktacular day at the Dubai theme park. The LEGOLAND Monster Party runs until October 31. First stop was at the LEGO Studios 4D cinema where we watched the launch of their new Monster 4D movie, The Great Monster Chase. I literally felt the monsters and witches throwing hexes and cauldrons, soaring on broomsticks and unleashing more mayhem with creepy crawlies! The beauty of 4D. Then we headed to Monster Street for some street games and a dance party where the kids and kids at heart learned some monster moves with Franky the Frankenstein. I had so much fun watching them I forgot to collect candies from the Brick or Treat booths along the way. Watch the video below:

But seeing guests in their best Halloween costumes was already a treat. I spotted a lady with a witch’s hat and an enchantingly yellow, flowing dress. One kid dressed as the masked Jason in Friday the 13th and showed me some killer moves. Over at LEGOLAND’s MINILAND, I marveled at the towering LEGO versions of Dubai’s high-rises and hotspots, including the Burj Khalifa, a whole stretch of Sheikh Zayed Road, and even the Dubai Airport! Videos on that soon on Expat Media's social media pages. On the sidelines, visitors can create their own LEGO pumpkin and showcase it at Ernie’s Pumpkin Patch. My colleagues wanted more thrills and tried the family rides, including the Dragon's Apprentice roller coaster that was quite fun to watch. The day wouldn’t be complete without trying the Monster burger and black ice cream at their Knight's Table restaurant. Delicious, with a surprise! Stick your tongue out later and have a laugh that is going to bring out that kid within! You’ll see what I mean. PIA/Expat Media
