Egyptian buys 1 millionth Expo 2020 Dubai passport

DUBAI – An Egyptian man is the lucky holder of the one millionth Expo 2020 Dubai passport after he bought it on site this week. Islam Fadi, a Dubai resident in the past seven years, was with his wife and their baby when they bought the yellow passport on December 17. Fadi was given a certificate and a goodie bag from Expo 2020. His baby also received a toy from Expo 2020 Dubai. The Egyptian expat said he is excited to explore Expo 2020 Dubai with his 50-page commemorative passport, which he can use to collect stamps from the pavilions he will visit. “First, I will visit my home country Egypt, then the UAE, Australia and the UK. I want to discover as much as I can this week. I’m excited to visit the pavilions. I love all the decorations; everything looks absolutely fantastic – it’s amazing,” he said. ICA/Expat Media
