Egyptian dies after being hit by car in Ras Al Khaimah parking lot

A 41-year-old Egyptian expatriate died in the hospital after he was hit by a car in a Ras Al Khaimah parking lot, according to reports on Wednesday (April 5). The victim, identified by his initials G.M.G.A. died in Saqr Hospital last Friday, after 10 days he was in the intensive care unit. His body has been transported to Egypt for burial. According to records, the Egyptian man was at a parking lot of a hotel when he was run over by a car driven by an Arab. The incident happened just three hours before iftar. The victim sustained severe injuries and had to undergo amputation of both his legs. He remained in critical condition in the hospital before succumbing to his injuries. He is survived by his wife and four children in Egypt. G.M.G.A. had lived in the UAE for more than ten years and had not seen his family for nearly two years. ICA/Expat Media
