An Egyptian taxi driver in Dubai was honored by police after returning valuables worth Dh1 million that were left in his vehicle. The Egyptian driver, Hamada Abu Zeid, who works for Dubai Taxi Corporation, discovered the items in his taxi and promptly returned them to the authorities. The commendable act was praised by the Dubai Police for exemplifying community integrity and responsibility. He was awarded a certificate of appreciation by Brigadier Majid Al Suwaidi, Director of Al Barsha Police Station, in a ceremony that highlighted the importance of community collaboration in maintaining security. Dubai Police expressed their gratitude towards Abu Zeid for his selfless actions, reinforcing the city’s mission to promote safety and goodwill among its residents. Abu Zeid, humbled by the recognition, said, “It was my duty to return the valuables to ensure they are given back to the rightful owner.
