Parking will be free of charge in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah during the Eid Al Adha holiday, authorities have announced. In Dubai, parking fees will be waived from June 27 to June 30. Parking, however, will remain paid in multi-storey car parks, according to the Roads and Transport Authority. The Eid Al Adha holiday begins on Tuesday (June 27) for public and private sector workers in the UAE. In Abu Dhabi, parking and toll gates will be free of charge from June 27 until 7:59am on July 1, according to the Integrated Transport Centre of the Department of Municipalities and Transport. Parking fees at the Musaffah M-18 truck parking lot will also be free during the Eid holiday. The Darb toll gate system will be free of charge until 6:59am on July 1. In Sharjah, public parking users in Sharjah City will be exempt from parking fees from June 28 to 30, the Sharjah Municipality announced. Parking will remain paid in 7-day paid parking zones, marked with blue parking information boards.
