With Ramadan in the UAE projected to commence on March 1, residents are eagerly awaiting the festive period of Eid Al Fitr that follows the holy month. Eid Al Fitr is expected to span from Monday, March 31, to Thursday, April 3, if Ramadan completes a full 30 days and concludes on Sunday, March 30. Should Ramadan last 29 days, Eid Al Fitr would begin on Sunday, March 30, and extend until Wednesday, April 2. Official confirmation of Eid Al Fitr dates will be announced by the Moon-sighting committee closer to the conclusion of Ramadan, aligning the holiday celebrations with religious observations and community traditions across the UAE. During Eid Al Fitr, UAE residents traditionally engage in communal prayers, festive gatherings, and charitable activities to celebrate the end of Ramadan and the beginning of Shawwal, the next lunar month in the Islamic calendar.
