The UAE’s moon-sighting committee has invited all Muslims in the country to sight the crescent of the month of Shawwal on Thursday evening (April 20), the 29th Ramadan, 1444 H. The committee requested anyone who sees the crescent to contact the number 02 6921166 to be directed to the nearest court to record the testimony. The moon-sighting committee will declare the start of Eid Al Fitr based on the sighting of the moon.
