  DUBAI - Compensation awaits the 282 passengers who were on board Emirates flight EK 521 that met an incident last week. The plane made an emergency landing in Dubai, with all passengers and crew members evacuated to safety before the plane burst into flames. Emirates announced compensation for the passengers and a full refund of their airfare. Some of the passengers reportedly said they received an email indicating that they will receive $7,000 each from the airline. No specific date was indicated on the schedule of the payout but Emirates said it wanted resolve the issue on compensation to avoid adding more stress to the passengers. At least 300 people escaped unhurt on August 3. However, a fireman responding to the blaze was killed.
