Rumors of a breakup between actress Ellen Adarna and her husband, actor Derek Ramsay, continue to swirl after Adarna shared a series of cryptic posts on Instagram. In one post, the 36-year-old actress wrote: “She will never forget how she was treated when she was postpartum… Calling her crazy or using this very natural occurrence after birth against her is one of the cruelest things someone could do. As a man you’ll never understand. As another mother you should’ve been ashamed of yourself for doing that.” She later reposted another statement that read, “You can’t destroy the mother of your children and then tell me you’re a good father.” Adarna also reshared a lighthearted video about Aries traits, highlighting the zodiac sign’s resilience and fiery personality—fueling further speculation about the meaning behind her posts.

Derek Ramsay denies separation rumors

Ramsay, who had gone on a weeklong wellness retreat in Bali, Indonesia, was quick to respond to the rumors as he returned to the Philippines. In an Instagram post, he wrote: “Showbizlife stop spreading lies about my family. Lily is my daughter and Ellen is a loyal wife!” He dismissed talk of separation as baseless, emphasizing his trust in his wife and defending his family against what he described as lies. Meanwhile, Adarna has pushed back against a Facebook post that falsely claimed she had “fled to the United States” due to “massive debt” and a breakup. Sharing the screenshot of the fabricated story, she wrote in Filipino: “Hoy, umayos kayo. Wala akong utang ever. I don’t even have a US visa because I’m so praning with all the shooting there. (Hey, stop this. I never had a debt. I don’t even have a US visa because the shootings there make me paranoid)". Beyond the controversy, Adarna has also been candid about her health, revealing that she is dealing with three slipped discs and has been advised to avoid stress. Adarna and Ramsay married in 2021. They welcomed their daughter Liana in 2024, joining Adarna’s son from a previous relationship in their blended family. While both have shared glimpses of their lives online, they remain largely private about their marriage.  Neither has issued a formal statement clarifying the status of their relationship.
