Emarat has entered new territory, unveiling the world’s first fuel station with naming rights in a groundbreaking deal with Al Maryah Community Bank (Mbank). The fuel station, now renamed Al Maryah Bank Station, is located near Zabeel Park on Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Street in Dubai. This innovative move represents the growing trend of branding opportunities in everyday locations. Emarat shared the rebranding of its newly rebranded station in a promotional video, marking the beginning of what could be a significant shift in how businesses leverage naming rights beyond traditional venues. Al Maryah Bank's agreement, first announced in March, paves the way for other companies to explore similar branding deals with fuel stations. The renaming also aligns with the bank’s broader marketing strategy as it continues to expand its digital wallet services linked to the Jaywan card for contactless payments at Emarat stations. This initiative follows in the footsteps of Dubai Metro’s own naming rights deals, such as those for stations like InsuranceMarket and Onpassive, allowing companies to strengthen their visibility in key city locations. With Mbank’s digital wallet now available for fuel purchases, Emarat hopes to offer customers a seamless, cashless experience at the pump.
