Dubai’s flagship airline, Emirates, has been awarded the title of “Best Airline in the World” at the recent ULTRAs 2024 Awards in London, thanks to votes from a global network of discerning travelers. Emirates, known for its luxurious services and extensive international network, topped the list of 90 airlines for its commitment to elevating the passenger experience. “We’re delighted to be recognized as ‘Best Airline in the World’ by the ULTRAs,” said Tim Clark, President of Emirates. “Our investments in product and services, in our people, training, and technology all aim to elevate the travel experience at every step of the journey, so our customers truly ‘fly better.’ We’ll always work hard to raise the bar for them.” The airline’s commitment to excellence has garnered numerous awards this year, including accolades for its in-flight entertainment system and the highly-rated Premium Economy Class. Emirates also secured runner-up positions for its First Class services, following Singapore Airlines, and in the Premium Economy category, just behind Virgin Atlantic. Part of Emirates' success lies in its multi-billion-dollar refurbishment program, which will soon see more than 200 of its aircraft receive fully upgraded interiors, further enhancing the in-flight experience for passengers. In addition to Emirates’ success, Dubai International Airport was also recognized, ranking as a runner-up to Singapore Changi Airport for best airport in the world.
