Emirates is celebrating the 25th anniversary of its Skywards loyalty programme with a global campaign that combines nostalgia, innovation, and rewards worth millions. The Dubai-based airline unveiled a bespoke silver anniversary livery, which will take to the skies in October on select routes worldwide. The shimmering design is a nod to Skywards’ “silver jubilee,” highlighting 25 years of connecting over 37 million members across the globe. But the celebrations aren’t just cosmetic. Emirates has launched one of its biggest giveaways ever: 25 million Skywards Miles up for grabs over 25 days, from September 25 to October 20. Members can participate in raffles to win between 100,000 and 1 million Skywards Miles, while those booking Emirates or flydubai flights during the promotional period will enjoy a 50 percent bonus on rewards. Travelers booking with partner airlines, hotels, or shopping platforms will receive a 25 percent bonus. Emirates has also packed in special experiences at Dubai International Airport (DXB). In early October, Skywards trucks will distribute free ice cream at Terminals 2 and 3. Lucky passengers may also find “golden tags” on their luggage with prizes such as free lounge access, branded merchandise, and bonus miles. The airline is adding fun to the skies, too. Passengers can join interactive quizzes to win extra rewards, cabin upgrades, and duty-free vouchers. Long-term members will be surprised with tier upgrades and exclusive perks as a thank-you for their loyalty. “Emirates Skywards has grown from a simple rewards system into a lifestyle platform that enriches every journey,” the airline said in a statement. “This silver anniversary is both a celebration of our members and a commitment to making travel more rewarding for decades to come.” Miles can be redeemed for Emirates and flydubai flights, concert tickets at Coca-Cola Arena, hotel stays, and unique experiences across Dubai and beyond.
