UAE-based carriers Emirates and Etihad Airways have been voted in the top ten best airlines in the world. Emirates climbed up six places to make it to 10th place of the World’s Top 25 airlines by AirlineRatings.com, while Etihad remained strong in 3rd place. The list is based on consistency of service, staff engagement, 7-star safety and innovation. Earlier this year, Emirates and Etihad were also named the top 10 safest airlines in the world. In the World’s top Airlines of 2023 list, Air New Zealand top the list as best airline in the world, knocking off Qatar Airways from the title it held for two years. Qatar Airways moved down one notch to second place.
