Emirates Loto draws postponed until later in 2020

DUBAI – Emirates Loto weekly draws are postponed “effective immediately”, organisers said in a statement sent to Expatmedia.net. Emirates Loto’s draw scheduled for Saturday (July 18) is also postponed. Organisers cited “upgrades to customer-centric touchpoints” as the reason for the postponement of draws. “Due to upgrades to the platform and to allow for the introduction for more customer-centric touchpoints, Emirates Loto‘s weekly draws will be postponed effective immediately,” Emirates Loto said in a statement. “The upgrades are scheduled to be completed later this year, at which time, the draws will also return,” it added. Emirates Loto said customers who purchased entries into this week’s draw will “immediately have their fees refunded”. No one has yet won the jackpot prize of Dh50 million since Emirates Loto launched on April 18, but more than a dozen people have walked away with a share of the Dh1 million secondary prize after matching five out of six winning numbers in the weekly draws.
